About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Onyx Server to join our team at Four Seasons Hotel Westlake Village. As a key member of our dining team, you will be responsible for delivering seamless and memorable dining experiences for our guests. This includes actively greeting guests, delivering food and beverages, anticipating guests' needs, and being knowledgeable about all available beverage and menu options.

Key Responsibilities:

• Describe menu items to guests, highlighting their origin, taste, and preparation methods.
• Communicate guest orders to the kitchen, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions to enhance their experience.
• Properly close guest checks, process payments, and settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
• Assist with the breakdown, cleaning, and setup of tables, buffets, and food stations.

Requirements:

• High school education or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of prior serving experience in an upscale restaurant.
• Ability to carry and balance a tray.
• Strong communication skills and reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.

Schedule & Hours:

• This is a part-time position.
• Thursday - Sunday PM availability is required.
