Job Summary

The H&K Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled Portable Plant Operator/Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our Materials Division, you will be responsible for traveling to various sites to produce site material and operate equipment in a timely and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all work according to OSHA, MSHA, and H&K Safety policies
  • Create a safe worksite and maintain equipment
  • Identify site needs and develop plans to complete jobs efficiently
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve goals
  • Clean, pack up, and transport equipment as needed
Requirements
  • Extensive trackhoe operations experience
  • Experience with equipment maintenance and repair
  • Strong written communication and leadership skills
  • Self-motivated and organized with a focus on safety
  • Ability to fit test and utilize personal protective equipment as needed
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including movement and lifting
Preferred Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited educational institution
  • Experience with loader operations and Q329 caterpillar trackhoe and LT105 portable crusher
  • OSHA, MSHA, or other safety certifications
