Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to perform a variety of technical procedures using imaging equipment for the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The ideal candidate will be responsible for adjusting technique to minimize radiation exposure while maintaining image quality, verifying proper clinician orders, and providing clear explanations of exams to patients.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
- Perform CT scans and other imaging procedures to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
- Verify patient information and obtain complete clinical history for procedures
- Provide excellent patient care and ensure patient comfort and privacy
- Maintain imaging equipment and participate in quality control activities
Required Minimum Education:
Graduate of AMA-approved School of Radiology Technology
ARRT Radiography
ARRT Computed Tomography
Basic Life Support or BLS - Instructor
Required Minimum Experience:
Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology Required
Required Minimum Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Competent in all aspects of CT and patient care
- Understanding of anatomy and pathology affecting procedure quality
- Compliance with hospital policies and professional standards
