Job Title: St. Albans Farm Pick Up Driver

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled CDL driver to transport raw milk from our St. Albans farm to our processing plant or trucking terminal. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of our products.

Responsibilities:

* Operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with DOT and DFA rules, regulations, and policies, adhering to all safety practices
* Follow dispatch schedule and directions from dispatch and location supervisory personnel, traveling to locations to transport raw milk
* Transfer raw milk from farm containers to trailer
* Take quality and control samples at farm
* Measure milk loaded into trailer
* Apply seals properly and document seal numbers to paperwork to ensure traceability and security of load
* Follow designated routes and schedules unless otherwise directed by supervisory personnel
* Take measures to minimize truck idle times and conserve fuel consumption
* Maintain positive communications with producers, listening for issues or potential problems, reporting producers' comments to transportation and member services management
* Always represent DFA positively and professionally during interactions with producers, customers, or regulatory personnel

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or GED or equivalent preferred
* Must have a current CDL (Class A) in state of residence. Must have, or be able to obtain, a tanker endorsement
* Minimum of 1-year verifiable CDL driving experience (military experience does count towards this requirement)
* Must be at least 21 years of age
* Must meet all DOT requirements
