The Center for Wellness and Prevention Department encompasses a variety of multidisciplinary initiatives and services dedicated to both primary and secondary prevention as well as rehabilitation. These include:

  • Outpatient Pulmonary Rehabilitation
  • Outpatient Cardiac Rehabilitation
  • General Fitness and Wellness Programs
  • Outpatient Non-invasive Cardiopulmonary Stress Testing

This role involves delivering personalized and group nutrition and lifestyle evaluations and education for patients participating in one or more of the aforementioned outpatient programs.

Key Responsibilities

Staff Dietitians are tasked with:

  • Providing comprehensive nutritional care, which includes screening, nutrition and lifestyle assessments, and care plan formulation.
  • Implementing ongoing nutrition interventions and offering nutrition counseling and dietary education in accordance with departmental and medical center protocols.
  • Organizing their responsibilities and establishing priorities to design programs that address the essential nutrition and service needs of the patient demographic they cater to.
Qualifications

Minimum Education: Bachelor's Level Degree is required.

Required Qualifications: Must be a Registered and/or Registration Eligible, licensed (state of Ohio) dietitian. Previous experience in a dietitian role is preferred.
