Role Responsibilities:

  • Lead technical design initiatives in heavy industrial structural projects.
  • Exercise independent judgment and decision-making with minimal oversight.
  • Engage in conceptual design and final engineering processes.

  • Occasional travel within designated regions.

  • Generate material take-offs and conduct construction estimates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Eligibility to obtain a Professional Engineer license in Kentucky within six months.
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in structural design and analysis, preferably in heavy industrial settings.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • A collaborative team player capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and structural design software.
  • Ability to gather information on job sites and work near heavy machinery.
  • Extensive knowledge of various structural systems and design principles.
  • Familiarity with design software such as Autodesk Revit, Risa 3D, and STAAD.Pro.
