We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Care Specialist to join our team at Urgent Care for Kids. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our pediatric urgent care services.
Key Responsibilities- Triage patients and communicate effectively with providers to ensure seamless care.
- Document patient visits and summarize symptoms and vital signs in the Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Assist providers with procedures, patient care, and administrative tasks, including medication administration, phlebotomy, and radiology.
- Prepare and maintain exam and treatment rooms, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Provide patient education and address follow-up questions, promoting a positive patient experience.
- Perform front office tasks, including insurance verification, patient registration, and answering phones.
- Passion for working with children and families.
- Experience in a pediatric office, hospital, or urgent care setting within the past 3 years, with a minimum duration of 6 months.
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) with a Texas license.
- BLS certification required (online renewal accepted by the American Heart Association).
- Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, basic clinical procedures, CLIA-Waived Testing, and EMR software.

Our clinics operate Monday through Friday from 12:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday/Sunday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. We are committed to providing a supportive and collaborative work environment that fosters growth and development.
