Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Police Officer to join our team at the City of Beaverton. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing laws, maintaining public order, and providing excellent customer service to our community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce laws and regulations to maintain public safety and order
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide assistance to the public
  • Conduct investigations and gather evidence to solve crimes
  • Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to share information and best practices
  • Participate in community outreach and education programs to build trust and partnerships
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; 90 college credit hours or relevant work experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet city driving standards
  • 21 years of age or older at time of hire
  • US citizenship or nonimmigrant status legally admitted to the US under a Compact of Free Association
  • Ability to pass background check, physical agility test, and written exam
