Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute thorough cleaning in designated areas of the facility
  • Prioritize health and food safety on a daily basis
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Sanitation Operating Procedures (SSOP), and company policies
  • Sanitize and reassemble production machinery
  • Assist in the preparation and initiation of production equipment
  • Carry out Clean Out of Place (COP) procedures
  • Monitor and maintain pest control stations
  • Complete required documentation
  • Work collaboratively with the production team
  • Operate power jacks and forklifts as necessary
  • Follow safety protocols, GMP, and Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) guidelines
  • Report any concerns regarding food or personnel safety
  • Perform additional assigned tasks as needed

Qualifications:

  • No previous experience required
  • Basic literacy, numeracy, and communication skills
  • Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Preferred: Mechanical aptitude, ability to work at heights, attention to detail, effective communication skills, capability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
