About the Position

We are seeking a part-time educator to join our team at The Schoolhouse Learning Center. As an Afterschool and Flex Teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting our nature-based program for preschool to 8th grade students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote social justice and environmental awareness.
  • Lead outdoor activities and explorations that foster a love for nature and the natural world.
  • Collaborate with our experienced team of teachers to ensure a cohesive and progressive educational experience.
  • Provide individualized support to students, addressing their unique needs and interests.
  • Attend professional development training in early childhood education and obtain certification in First Aid/CPR.
Requirements
  • High School diploma required.
