About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Architectural Designer II to join our team at Colliers Engineering & Design. As a key member of our Hingham, MA office, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality design solutions for complex projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Senior Architects and Project Managers to develop and present design solutions to clients and project teams.
  • Prepare contract drawings and specifications for all design phases of a project.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and document design details, renderings, and working drawings to communicate design intent.
  • Assist in the development of project specifications and edit documents as required.
  • Perform technical calculations and prepare reports and data tables as needed.
  • Maintain liaison with design and drafting groups to ensure efficient project delivery.
  • Review and approve drawings as required under the direction of the Supervising Architect.
  • Perform technical assignments of moderate complexity within approved schedules and budgets.
  • Coordinate technical and administrative activities with employees in other disciplines and departments.
  • Manage small teams of design staff when requested or assigned.
  • Assist in the training and evaluation of assigned architectural and design/drafting personnel.
Requirements
  • Professional degree in architecture from an accredited institution, plus at least six years of related experience.
  • Highly proficient in REVIT, AutoCad Architecture version 2022, and ability to annotate plans and details.
  • Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • May also have 3D Rendering Software capabilities.
  • Actively seeking licensure, NCARB membership, and certification.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
