Correctional Officer

We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to fill the role of Detention Officer at the Wagoner County Detention Center. As a Detention Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our facility and the community we serve.

• Process and supervise inmates, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Enforce detention center rules and regulations, maintaining a secure and orderly environment.
• Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies to ensure effective communication and coordination.

• U.S. citizenship.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Pass a thorough background investigation and drug screen.
• Good moral character and a strong sense of integrity.
• Availability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
