Preference will be given to candidates with experience in minimally invasive procedures, robotic-assisted surgery, and deformity correction in both adults and children.
Position Overview:
- Collaborative care model involving advanced practice providers, therapists, and nursing staff, alongside multidisciplinary teams including pain management and orthopedic specialists.
- Access to suburban clinics to facilitate patient care within a reasonable distance.
- Research initiatives supported with initial funding for qualified candidates.
- Engagement in clinical outcomes registries with resources available for research activities.
- Participation in a call rotation with experienced adult Neurosurgeons.
- Outpatient responsibilities at various affiliated healthcare facilities.
- Educational roles involving the training of residents and fellows in a structured fellowship program.
- Support for the Neuroscience Institute, particularly the Center for Spinal Disorders.
- Opportunities for innovation in clinical care, education, and research, especially in spinal care outcomes.
- Leadership roles available for interested candidates in educational and quality improvement initiatives.
- Access to resources for medical editing, illustration, and mentorship, fostering interdepartmental collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Completion of a Neurosurgery residency from an accredited program.
- Completion of a spinal surgery fellowship is preferred but not mandatory based on experience.
- Board eligibility or certification from the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
