Geologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Geologist to join our team at S&ME. As a key member of our drilling operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical direction and executing subsurface field investigations in support of engineering site assessments, environmental studies, and foundation remediation.

• Provide technical direction and oversight for monitoring well installation programs, foundation investigations, underground utility investigations, or related projects
• Perform soil and rock logging, and prepare professional logs for soil, rock, and monitoring well construction data
• Manage drilling and other related contractors according to company guidelines and procedures
• Interface with various customers, and assist Drilling Services leaders and internal drilling resources to facilitate field investigations

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field
• 3+ years of experience working directly in a geologic, environmental, engineering, construction, or other geological-related field
• Professional Geology license (a plus)
