Position: Senior Mechanical Estimator

We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Estimator to enhance our Preconstruction Team. This role is pivotal as we broaden our operations throughout the Southeastern United States, with flexibility for remote work while collaborating with our offices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly review and interpret project documentation, requirements, and specifications
  • Lead and coordinate a team of estimators
  • Evaluate labor and equipment expenses
  • Scrutinize bid documents and identify project risks
  • Compile bid packages and assess subcontractor and supplier proposals
  • Engage effectively with clients
  • Develop comprehensive cost models and monitor fluctuations in material and labor prices
Qualifications:
  • Essential Competencies

  • Experience and Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5-10 years of pertinent experience
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Preferred knowledge of both union and merit shop projects
