Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to join our team at Avera Laboratory, one of the top labs in the nation. As a Medical Laboratory Scientist, you will play a critical role in monitoring, coordinating, and performing timely, accurate, and quality clinical laboratory results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and coordinate laboratory operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of results
  • Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures to analyze patient samples and provide accurate results
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest laboratory techniques and technologies to maintain high-quality results

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university and completion of NAACLS-accredited Medical Laboratory Scientist program
  • One to two years of Medical Laboratory Scientist experience/training acceptable to the ASCP or AMT
  • Certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist from the ASCP or AMT within one year of hire date

  • Day shift schedule: Monday - Friday, 48 hours/2 weeks
