We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Building Crew Events Team as a Facilities Operations Specialist. This role is responsible for preparing Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse for events and work projects, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute duties in support of facility and equipment operations, including driving a forklift or walkie rider lift truck to unload truck deliveries at the loading docks.
  • Remove and install hockey glass and team benches in the FieldHouse hockey configuration to prepare for basketball or hockey games.
  • Remove portable seats in preparation of televised basketball games, hockey games, or traveling entertainment events.
  • Set up tables and chairs in the FieldHouse banquet rooms in preparation of meeting functions.
  • Drive a portable power scrubbing machine to clean concrete areas within the facility.
  • Set up chairs, portable staging, and risers in preparation of concerts or other special events.
  • Respond to event clean-up calls.
  • Assist with basketball game setup, including servicing goals and cleaning floor and bench areas.
  • Assist the Guest Services Team with event presentation work.

Requirements

  • Be a self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule and work extra hours as necessary.
  • Local B27.
