The Pet Hospitals is seeking an Animal Care Technician to become a vital part of our Thrive Pet Healthcare community.

As an Animal Care Technician, you will significantly impact the lives of pets by delivering comprehensive care. Your responsibilities will include hands-on treatment, conducting laboratory tests, and assisting with patient admissions and discharges.

**Key Responsibilities:**
  • Assist veterinarians in delivering high-quality veterinary care, advocate for animal welfare, and educate pet owners.
  • Support the medical team to enhance productivity and ensure smooth patient flow.
  • Help with surgical procedures in compliance with the Veterinary Practice Act.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding their pets' health and provide guidance on treatment options.
  • Maintain accurate medical records with the assistance of practice management systems.
  • Gather health history and information from clients while keeping medical charts updated.
  • Implement safe restraint techniques and uphold cleanliness in treatment areas, exam rooms, and laboratories.
  • Mentor and support fellow team members as needed.
