Job Title: NDT Level II Inspector

We are seeking an experienced NDT Level II Inspector to join our team at Tradesmen International. As a key member of our inspection team, you will be responsible for conducting non-destructive testing inspections to ensure the integrity and safety of materials and structures.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct NDT Level II inspections using PT, MT, VT, RT, and UT methods to industry standards.
  • Perform inspections to ensure the integrity and safety of materials and structures.
  • Interpret and evaluate test results.
  • Prepare inspection reports and documentation.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure quality assurance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
  • Experience in Liquid Penetrant/Magnetic Particle/Visual Testing (PT, MT, & VT), Radiographic Testing (RT), or Ultrasonic Testing (UT).
  • Minimum of 4 years of documented continuous experience performing inspections in PT, MT, and VT OR RT and UT methods within the past 9 months.
  • Current certification as Level II in PT, MT, VT or UT and RT methods per ASNT SNT-TC-1A 2001 Edition or later.
  • Successful completion of written general theory and procedure-specific examinations.
  • Proven ability to operate NDT equipment, record results, and analyze information.
  • Valid vision acuity exam results using Jaeger 1 letters at a distance of not less than 12 inches within the last year.
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations related to the shipbuilding industry.
