We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the University of California, Merced. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting experimental measurements and numerical simulations of nondiffusive heat transfer in micro/nanomaterials and their interfaces.
Key Responsibilities- Design and conduct experiments to characterize non-diffusive heat transfer in micro/nanomaterials and their interfaces.
- Develop and implement numerical simulations to model and analyze heat transfer phenomena.
- Collaborate with senior researchers and graduate students to oversee the progress of research projects.
- Write and publish research papers in top-tier scientific journals.
- PhD in Thermal Science and Engineering or a related field.
- Experience in thermometry and modeling.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Highly motivated individual with a strong track record of research experience.
- Experience with experimental and numerical methods in thermal science.
