About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Oncology Technician Lead to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing top-notch patient care, working closely with our oncology service team, and maintaining a clean and safe hospital environment.

Job Description: The Veterinary Oncology Technician Lead will be responsible for administering chemotherapy and other treatments to patients under the supervision of our primary DVMs. This will involve attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to triage medical situations. Additional responsibilities include restraining patients for exams and medical treatments, performing medical treatments under supervision, and inducing and monitoring anesthesia during procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credential or equivalent from an accredited veterinary technician program. You should have a solid understanding of veterinary medical terminology, procedures, and pharmacology. Experience working in an oncology or specialty medicine unit of a veterinary hospital is preferred.
