Program Highlights:
The Interventional Pulmonology Program at National Jewish Health provides a comprehensive array of minimally invasive diagnostic, therapeutic, and palliative airway interventions. Our team of interventional pulmonologists, all fellowship-trained, possesses significant expertise in executing minimally invasive techniques aimed at accurately diagnosing patients with pulmonary nodules and various lung-related issues.
In collaboration with a local hospital, we are proud to be among the pioneering facilities in the Rocky Mountain region to offer robotic bronchoscopy, a cutting-edge minimally invasive option for patients requiring biopsies of lung nodules and other pulmonary concerns.
Key Services Offered:
- Identification, diagnosis, and management of pulmonary nodules
- Early lung cancer detection
- Diagnosis and treatment of airway obstructions caused by both benign and malignant conditions
- Airway recanalization utilizing laser and other techniques
- Extraction of foreign bodies
- Management of pleural diseases
- Advanced asthma and emphysema management
Qualifications Required:
- Board Certification in Internal Medicine
- Board Certification/Eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care
- Strong dedication to patient care
- Eligibility for a Colorado medical license
