Position Overview:

National Jewish Health, a premier institution in respiratory care, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified physician specializing in Pulmonary and Critical Care with a focus on Interventional Pulmonology.

Program Highlights:

The Interventional Pulmonology Program at National Jewish Health provides a comprehensive array of minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic airway interventions. Our skilled interventional pulmonologists, trained through fellowships, possess extensive expertise in performing procedures that facilitate accurate diagnosis of lung nodules and other pulmonary issues.

In collaboration with a leading hospital, we are proud to be among the first in our region to offer robotic bronchoscopy, a cutting-edge, minimally invasive technique for patients requiring biopsies of lung nodules and other pulmonary concerns.

Core Services:

  • Identification, diagnosis, and management of pulmonary nodules
  • Early detection strategies for lung cancer
  • Diagnosis and treatment of airway obstructions from both benign and malignant conditions
  • Airway recanalization utilizing laser and other advanced techniques
  • Extraction of foreign bodies from the airway
  • Management of pleural diseases
  • Advanced treatment options for asthma and emphysema

Qualifications:

  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine
  • Board Certification/Eligibility in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
  • Strong dedication to patient care
  • Eligibility for a Colorado medical license
