Physical Therapy Assistant (Per Diem)
Department: Inpatient Physical Therapy
Employment Type: Per Diem
Shift: Day, Weekends
Hours per Pay Period: 0.01 (Non-Exempt)
Compensation: Competitive, based on experience.

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will work under the guidance of a licensed physical therapist to deliver therapeutic interventions to patients. Your role may involve various outpatient settings within Billings Clinic. Key responsibilities include:

  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and discharge planning.
  • Administering therapeutic exercises, massage, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
  • Motivating and guiding patients to enhance their functional abilities.
  • Monitoring patient progress and documenting treatment outcomes in compliance with established protocols.
  • Fitting and instructing patients on the use of orthopedic devices and supportive equipment.
  • Collaborating with healthcare team members to optimize patient care plans.
  • Conducting clerical tasks such as charge entry, inventory management, and communication.
  • Engaging in continuous professional development and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications
Education:
* Associate Degree in Physical Therapy Assistance from an accredited institution.

Certifications:
* Current CPR certification for Healthcare Providers.
* Valid Montana Physical Therapy Assistant license.
