Key Responsibilities:
The Bartender plays a crucial role in crafting memorable experiences by preparing beverages for guests at the bar or through the wait staff. This position involves mixing, garnishing, and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company standards while assisting with menu item orders. Bartenders are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and are always attentive to their surroundings to promote responsible drinking among members and guests.
- Verify guest and member identification and age requirements.
- Prepare traditional and innovative cocktails.
- Process customer payments efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness of glasses, bar utensils, and the bar area.
- Offer food and beverage recommendations based on guest preferences.
- Manage tabs throughout the shift.
Compensation: $16 per hour
Qualifications:
- Must be of legal age to sell and serve alcoholic beverages; applicable state certification may be required.
- Knowledge of various mixed drink ingredients, food, wine, and service etiquette.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Experience with cash and credit card transactions.
- Basic math skills and proficiency with calculators and point-of-sale systems.
- Familiarity with bar equipment such as blenders, coffee makers, and dishwashers.
Education:
- High school diploma required; specialty or technical training preferred, along with one year of relevant experience or equivalent education.
- T.A.B.C. Certification is mandatory.
