Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse plays a crucial role in delivering comprehensive patient care through systematic assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation processes.
This professional is tasked with prescribing, delegating, coordinating, supervising, and assessing patient education and the activities of nursing support staff while upholding the standards of nursing practice.
The Registered Nurse is equipped to provide both direct and indirect patient care.Qualifications:
A. Educational Background: Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or possess an equivalent qualification.
B. Experience: A minimum of six (6) months of relevant experience is preferred.
C. Licensure and Certifications: Must hold a current license or permit to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas.
Additional Certifications Required:
- AHA BLS certification must be obtained within two (2) weeks of employment.
- ACLS certification is required within eight (8) weeks of employment.
- Completion of an Arrhythmia Recognition Course is expected within eight (8) weeks of employment.
Work Schedule:
PRN
- Tele Tier Plan available
- Flexible Scheduling Options: Tier 1 offers a base rate based on experience for three shifts in a six-week schedule; Tier 2 provides $40/hr for six shifts; Tier 3 offers $45/hr for twelve shifts; Tier 4 allows for $50/hr for eighteen shifts in a six-week schedule. Shift differentials apply for night and weekend shifts.
