Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Athletic Trainer to provide on-site services for area high schools. The successful candidate will work under the direction of a physician to prevent, recognize, evaluate, and manage injuries and illnesses related to sports and physical activity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide athletic training services to high school students, including injury prevention, evaluation, and treatment.
  • Travel to area high schools to provide on-site services for practices, sporting events, and clinic hours.
  • Collaborate with school administrators, coaches, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and healthy environment for student athletes.
  • Stay up-to-date on evidence-informed athletic training practices and maintain certification as a Florida Licensed Athletic Trainer.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field.
  • Florida License as Athletic Trainer and BOC certification.
  • Emergency Cardiac Care certification from American Heart Association.
  • Less than one year of on-field Athletic Training experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Athletic Training or related field.
