Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Nurse to join our team at NYU Langone Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting clinical research studies, observing patient clinical response, and evaluating the therapeutic efficacy of drugs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Clinical Research Studies: Conduct clinical research studies, observe patient clinical response, and evaluate the therapeutic efficacy of drugs.
  • Collect and Analyze Data: Collect and analyze data from clinical research studies, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with Clinicians: Collaborate with clinicians to review approved or proposed projects, participate in planning and evaluating these projects, and participate in staff meetings.
  • Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care and ensure smooth study execution.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient data, study protocols, and research findings.
  • Participate in Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing continuing education and professional development to stay current with research developments and best practices.
Requirements
  • NYS RN License: Possess a current NYS RN license and registration.
  • Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program: Be a graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Experience in Clinical Research: Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical research, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Strong Analytical and Communication Skills: Possess strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
