Job Overview:

Responsibilities encompass the installation of connectors, substrates, components, and modules within intricate microwave assemblies, frequently employing paste and sheet epoxies.

The successful candidate will engage in precise soldering of components and assemblies according to technical drawings and specifications.

Under limited supervision, the qualified individual may utilize schematics, blueprints, or sketches along with verbal and written instructions to assemble, rework, or reassemble units.



Key Responsibilities:

- Installation of connectors, substrates, components, and modules in complex microwave assemblies, often utilizing paste and sheet epoxies.

- Execution of fabrication or modification tasks on RF microwave hybrid modules and sub-assemblies of mid-range to high complexity.
- Proficient in surface mount, fine pitch, and through-hole soldering.
- Capable of using miniaturized tools such as tweezers, fine screwdrivers, and soldering irons.
- Demonstrates precision and adherence to standardized procedures.
- Ability to attach wires to load cell tabs by interpreting schematics or wiring diagrams.
- Consistently meets high standards for quality and output.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in electronics or microelectronics assembly.
  • Ability to work for extended periods under a microscope and utilize hand tools such as torque drivers and tweezers; strong dexterity and eye/hand coordination.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting detailed process sheets and drawings; good computer skills for accessing drawings and work instructions.
  • Ability to thrive in a diverse team environment; strong interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • High School Diploma is required.
  • Active J-STD 001 Certification is mandatory.
  • First Shift Hours: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with ESD and FOD controlled environments.
  • Experience in mechanical assembly processes for small electronic devices.
  • Background in working on military products within ISO 9001 / AS9100 controlled environments.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Note: Active secret clearance is preferred, and candidates with a previously held active clearance will be considered. An interim secret clearance is required to start the position.
