Serving four surrounding counties, the 15-bed emergency department manages approximately 18,000 patient visits annually. ECU Health Roanoke-Chowan Hospital offers a comprehensive array of health services, including medical, surgical, and radiation oncology.
Additionally, the Wound Healing and Pain Management clinics function as referral centers for adjacent ECU Health hospitals and healthcare providers.
Position OverviewUp to $30K Commitment Incentive
Under the supervision of the Nurse Manager, this role involves delegated responsibilities and authority for overseeing a nursing unit.
The responsibilities include coordinating, assessing, and enhancing nursing care while assisting the Nurse Manager in fostering safe, cost-effective, and high-quality patient care.
- Assigns patient care duties to nursing staff.
- Acts as a liaison among patients, families, and physicians.
- Develops leadership and managerial skills.
- Participates in the Service Excellence Program.
Licensure/Registration/Certification:
Registered Nurse license, must maintain licensure with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
ACLS certification
Three to four years of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or higher preferred
Additional Information
Monday-Friday day shift with occasional on-call duties as necessary.
