Psychiatric Social Worker II

The Psychiatric Social Worker II provides high-quality psychotherapeutic services to patients with complex needs in collaboration with the medical team.
This role employs evidence-based therapeutic treatment interventions and psychoeducation to patients and families, while also providing case management services as needed.
Services are clinic-based, and this position works with other team members to support access to overall services.
This position is also responsible for supporting partnerships designed to enhance the availability of treatment services at CHLA and at external partners.
Key Responsibilities- Provide psychotherapeutic services to patients with complex needs
- Employ evidence-based therapeutic treatment interventions and psychoeducation
- Provide case management services as needed
- Support partnerships to enhance treatment services
This position requires a Master's degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) or equivalent accreditation.
A Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California (LCSW) is required, and application process for CCS paneling will be completed within the first 90 days of hire.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
Current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification is also required.
