Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Supervisor to join our team at Harbor Retirement Associates. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the delivery of resident care, ensuring high-quality services that meet or exceed HRA standards.

About the Role:

This is a key leadership position that requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals. As a Nurse Supervisor, you will be responsible for coordinating resident care, conducting performance evaluations, coaching staff, and providing training and education.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise Resident Care Staff: Oversee the delivery of resident care, ensuring that all staff members are meeting HRA standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct Performance Evaluations: Regularly assess the performance of nursing staff, identifying areas for improvement and providing coaching and support as needed.
  • Coordinate Resident Care: Work closely with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure that individualized care plans are developed and implemented.
  • Provide Training and Education: Develop and deliver training programs to educate nursing staff on best practices, new procedures, and regulatory updates.
  • Meet with Residents: Conduct regular health and wellness checks, addressing any questions or concerns residents may have.
  • Review Resident Information: Maintain accurate records of resident information, assessing changes in condition and updating care plans accordingly.
  • Order Medications: Manage medication schedules for residents receiving medication administration services, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Maintain Communication: Foster open communication with residents, families, and healthcare professionals, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
