Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Assembly Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and inspecting various products, including truck bodies and specialty vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and inspect products to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Read and follow detailed operator instructions, installation drawings, and blueprints
  • Perform rework and apply feedback from supervisors and team leads
  • Complete proper forms and documentation
  • Understand and articulate the production flow of assigned product lines
  • Self-check work and inspect prior processes
  • Use basic hand, electric, cordless, and pneumatic tools
  • Meet production goals and maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Initiate process improvements and support 5S in the work area
  • Communicate with manufacturing and other cross-functional teams to resolve issues
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Excellent attendance and a positive attitude
  • Strong attention to detail and self-motivation
  • Team-oriented and able to work well with others
  • Ability to read and understand work orders, directions, charts, forms, and safety regulations
  • Ability to correctly use and read various gauges
  • Ability to work well with other employees in a team environment
  • Ability to read a tape measure to a (1/16) of an inch
  • Use of power tools and basic computer skills
