Assistant Store Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at Aldi. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.
Key Responsibilities- Store Operations: Assist the direct leader with developing and implementing action plans to improve store performance, manage schedules, and develop operational action plans.
- Team Management: Establish and communicate job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports, identify training opportunities, and evaluate employee performance.
- Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive prompt and courteous service, and that the store is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization.
- Inventory Management: Ensure that inventory levels are maintained, and that stock is properly ordered and received.
- Financial Management: Assist with achieving the store payroll and total loss budget, and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in a retail environment, with prior management experience preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
