At Fox, we are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. As a Senior VMware Professional, you will be responsible for administering and deploying VMware NSX-T environments. Your primary goal will be to maintain security roles and policies using NSX-T on both VMWare and bare metal systems. This role requires close collaboration with the Systems, VDI, Broadcast, and Cyber Security Teams to create proper security policies and deploy them. You will also be responsible for maintaining processes, procedures, documentation, and associated training plans for systems administration and operations teams.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Administer and deploy VMware NSX-T environments
  • Maintain security roles and policies using NSX-T
  • Collaborate with Systems, VDI, Broadcast, and Cyber Security Teams
  • Maintain processes, procedures, documentation, and training plans

You will analyze and isolate problems and issues, working with other Fox team members and vendors to find timely solutions. Enhance and improve existing infrastructure through automation and reporting. As a team player, you will utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with your colleagues. Deliver projects on time, meet project milestones, and communicate issues/risks appropriately. Own Root Cause Analysis and Problem Management.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, plus five years of progressive post-baccalaureate software engineering or related systems engineering experience. Experience must include three years of experience with VMware vRealize Operations, SCCM, NSX-T SME, Horizon View SME, and working in a large VMWare environment.

You will also require experience or knowledge in automation technologies such as vRealize Automation, Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins; systems like Github and vRealize Code Stream; programming and scripting languages like Python, JavaScript, PowerCLI, and Powershell; and Docker and Kubernetes.

Additionally, you must have at least one certification in VMware Certified Professional - Data Center Virtualization, VMware Certified Professional - Cloud Management and Automation, VMware Certified Professional - Network Virtualization, or Professional VMware NSX-T Data Center.
