Lead Acute Care Teams as a Surgical Nurse

In this critical role, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for surgical patients. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will utilize the nursing process to ensure the highest quality care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical and psychological needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in clinical team conferences and contribute to the development of evidence-based practice guidelines
  • Oversee care delivered by LPNs and CNAs and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures
  • Foster a culture of quality and safety within the team, promoting continuous improvement and innovation

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing is required
  • Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is required
  • Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon hire or obtained within 60 days of hire with prior approval
  • Ability to lift and utilize full range of movement to transfer patients, and navigate crowded and busy rooms

Compensation:

The hourly range for this position is $37.17 - $56.06, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. We also provide opportunities for professional growth and development.
