About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team at The Confidante. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef and Executive Sous Chef with the operations of the main kitchen and other outlets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Culinary Leadership: Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative and authentic menus that showcase the best of our region's cuisine.
  • Performance and Talent Development: Educate and coach the team to exceed expectations, develop a team of leaders prepared to advance within the organization, and provide timely feedback to the team.
  • Ambassador of Culture: Communicate the vision of the organization to the team, guests, and vendors, and lead by example, demonstrating ownership, accountability, and initiative in daily tasks.
  • Manage Daily Operations: Understand, practice, and teach policies and procedures, communicate the concept vision and policies to the team and managers, and maintain a daily log to communicate between shifts.
  • Manage Financial Results: Develop and execute a plan to stay within department budgets and maximize profits, actively manage inventory, waste, and pricing to meet cost targets, and utilize tools such as Compeat correctly and ensure data accuracy.
