KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Physical Therapist in delivering rehabilitation services to individuals in a correctional environment.
- Implement exercise regimens as directed by the Physical Therapist, ensuring progression and adaptation of exercises using available resources.
- Link treatment activities to established goals and objectives.
- Evaluate patient responses to therapy and modify treatments as necessary.
- Monitor changes in patient conditions and communicate with the Physical Therapist regarding the need for reassessment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of treatments and patient progress.
- Foster professional relationships with colleagues and contribute to a positive workplace atmosphere through effective communication.
- Ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all security protocols for medical personnel within the correctional setting as per established policies.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
- Compliance with initial and ongoing security clearance requirements.
