  • Assist with patient care activities under the direction of anesthesiologists and RN circulators, providing top-notch support and care.
  • Clean, maintain, and safety-check all equipment according to infection control and manufacturer guidelines, upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of universal precautions, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
  • Engage in teaching and training others in department-specific procedures and best practices.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and storing equipment and supplies, ensuring seamless operations and minimizing waste.
  • Maintain a clean and organized anesthesia supply room and operating rooms, adhering to hospital standards and protocols.
  • Collaborate with the OR Supply Coordinator and Material Services to coordinate purchases and optimize supply chain efficiency.
  • Participate in and contribute to the department's QA/QI program, driving continuous improvement and excellence.

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • Two years of clinical anesthesia technician experience preferred.
  • Certification from the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technicians preferred.
  • EMT license preferred.
