Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Swimming Lessons: Provide high-quality swimming instruction to students, focusing on water safety, stroke technique, and overall aquatic skills.
  • Enforce Safety Protocols: Ensure that all students and staff follow safety rules and regulations, and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Evaluate Student Progress: Assess student progress, provide feedback, and make adjustments to instruction as necessary.
  • Communicate with Parents: Interact with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress and provide guidance on how to support their child's swimming development.
  • Represent Goldfish Swim School: Act as a Goldfish ambassador, promoting our brand and values to parents, students, and the community.
Requirements:
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience as a certified lifeguard, youth sports instructor, or camp counselor preferred.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certification preferred; Shallow Water Attendant certification highly recommended.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with moderate noise levels and exposure to heat and humidity.
