Job Summary

Under physician's orders and RN supervision, the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing palliative and supportive care to patients and their families in various settings, including home, assisted living facilities, and long-term care environments.

Responsibilities
  • Observe patient/family needs and provide care accordingly
  • Work under physician's orders and RN supervision
  • Provide palliative and supportive care to patients and their families
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved school of practical/vocational nursing and current Florida LPN license
  • One year of recent experience in acute healthcare required
  • Previous Hospice/Home Health Care experience preferred
  • CHPLN certification encouraged within 3 years of employment
  • IV certification required within 6 months of hire
