The Gerber Laboratory at Dartmouth Cancer Center is seeking a highly skilled Research Associate B to contribute to its mission of determining the mechanisms underlying signal transduction in cell division. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for performing experiments to advance the laboratory's research goals, mentoring junior lab members, and maintaining accurate records of activities and outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Mentor and train junior lab members, technicians, and graduate rotation students
- Perform experiments to advance the laboratory's research mission and goals
- Maintain clear, accurate, and up-to-date records of activities, experiments, data, and outcomes
- Report on and disseminate findings to the Principal Investigator and other laboratory members
- Doctoral degree in biochemistry, cell biology, chemistry, or a related field
- Experience in cell culture, western blotting, molecular biology, biochemistry, and mass spectrometry-based protein identification and quantification technologies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
