Diagnostic Imaging Team Member

Radiology professionals at RAYUS Radiology are dedicated to providing high-quality patient care. We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary Imaging Responsibilities:

  • Patient Preparation: Screen patients before exams for any necessary precautions or contraindications, ensuring correct patient and procedure identification.
  • Scanning Procedures: Perform routine and advanced scanning imaging procedures on designated body parts for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and injury.
  • Image Quality and Safety: Adjust scanning parameters correctly and as needed, utilizing dose reduction techniques appropriately, and maintain a positive attitude and working relationships with radiologists, referring customers, and other associates.
  • Record Keeping and Equipment Maintenance: Accurately maintain patient records within the Radiology Information System (RIS) and ensure equipment is in good working order, cleaned, and disinfected after each use.
  • Compliance and Accreditation: Maintain compliance with all HIPAA guidelines and ACR toolkit requirements.

Supporting Departmental Functions:

  • Protocol Development and Training: Assist in maintaining an updated imaging protocol manual and provide training to new associates as applicable.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor medical supply inventory and request supplies as needed.

Additional Responsibilities:

Complete other tasks as assigned by management.
