Vincent LaSorsa, CPA is a well-established tax and accounting firm dedicated to providing high-quality financial services to a diverse range of clients. We pride ourselves on accuracy, integrity, and exceptional client service.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced bookkeeper to manage the financial records for our clients. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, ensuring accuracy for each client's financial records.
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations for each client account.
  • Generate monthly and annual financial statements, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets, tailored to each client's needs.
  • Process payroll and maintain payroll records, adhering to federal, state, and local requirements for various client businesses.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role, ideally within a tax or accounting firm.
  • Proficiency in accounting software - QuickBooks Online and Desktop - and familiarity with tax software is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP principles, financial reporting, and payroll compliance.
