We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at WVU Medicine. As a key member of our Radiology Department, you will be responsible for performing imaging procedures, providing patient care, and working collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Perform imaging procedures using various modalities, including fluoroscopy, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging.
- Prepare patients for procedures, including positioning, contrast administration, and radiation safety.
- Operate imaging equipment, including X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information, imaging results, and quality control data.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures.
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Registration or registry eligibility with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- West Virginia state criminal background check required.
