TotalMed Allied is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team for a travel assignment in Louisville, Kentucky.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and instructing them on how to hold their breath
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records of patient imaging procedures and results

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography or Computed Tomography
  • 1+ year of experience in Diagnostic Imaging
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
