Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Vertex Aerospace LLC. As an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing routine aircraft maintenance functions, including troubleshooting, repair, and modification of aircraft systems and components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine aircraft maintenance functions, including inspections, repairs, and modifications
  • Operate aircraft towing equipment and maintain aircraft hydraulic systems
  • Perform preventive maintenance inspections on aircraft and ground support equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair aircraft systems and components
  • Develop and execute maintenance plans to ensure meeting of aircraft Turn-Around-Time (TAT)
  • Inspect and maintain Ground Force Equipment (GFE) and conduct periodic inventory of assigned equipment
  • Effectively report the status of aircraft through written and verbal communication
  • Manage aircraft parts requisition through request, review, and approval of Critical Items List
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • CH/MH-53E Power Plants and Related Systems Maintenance Course
  • Must obtain and maintain the level of Industrial Security Clearance required by the Government
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain required clearance for Common Access Card (CAC)
  • Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license when required by job assignment
