Member Services Representative

The YMCA of Pierce and Kitsap Counties is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Member Services Representative. As a key member of our front desk team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our members, guests, and program participants.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Exceptional Service: Greet and assist members, guests, and staff in a courteous, professional, and friendly manner.
  • Membership Support: Assist with basic membership transactions, respond to member needs, and contact appropriate personnel when necessary.
  • Public Relations: Maintain good public relations with members and represent the best interests of the YMCA.
  • Communication: Provide excellent service to members, guests, and program participants in the branch and on the phone, contributing to member retention.
Requirements:
  • Customer Service Experience: At least two years of customer service, sales, or related experience (preferred).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral skills.
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable with computers and office equipment.
  • Teamwork: Proactive and able to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Training: Able and willing to complete Child Abuse Prevention training and other online and in-person training as required.
