Summary: This role is pivotal in securing high-quality fresh and frozen seafood products at competitive rates while ensuring sufficient stock levels to satisfy customer needs. The individual will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and engage in various tasks to bolster the organization’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve profit margin objectives established by the organization. Oversee product pricing and costs while ensuring the accuracy of purchase orders.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to acquire products in a financially prudent manner.
  • Monitor seafood inventory to align with business goals.
  • Manage the disposal of obsolete inventory.
  • Engage with suppliers regarding orders and new product offerings. Coordinate logistics and documentation. Provide the sales team with product and pricing information. Address any product quality issues.
  • Support special projects as required.
  • Carry out additional assigned responsibilities.
