We are seeking experienced Cable Technicians with a minimum of 2 years in a commercial setting. This role is essential for our ongoing projects, and we are looking for qualified individuals to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Installing and managing CAT 5 or CAT 6 cabling in commercial construction projects.
- Terminating communication jacks and organizing distribution frames (including 66 or 110 blocks and patch panels).
- Setting up support structures such as ladders, racks, and j-hooks.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Knowledge of BICSI, EIA, TIA, or NEC Standards.
- Experience with conduit installation, digital multi-meters, and cable testing.
- Skills in troubleshooting networking problems.
- Experience with rack and stack operations, including server racks and patch panels.
- Familiarity with fiber optics, including Anaerobic Terminations, SC and LC Connectors, and Splicing.
- The ability to interpret schematic and line diagrams.
- Your own basic telecom tools such as punch downs, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, and PPE (safety gear).
